The Ideal You - Do You Know Her/Him?

I thought I'll share with you the  exercise we are doing now in the 30-day Feel-Good Challenge

We are getting closer to the finish line of our 30-day challenge, so this assignment has more depth to it.
Assignment: Your Ideal You = who you really are

There is the real you as you are now and there is the ideal you, the one you are crystallizing into as you live you life’s journey. It is speaking as your inner voice that you hear and try to listen and follow.

You know this Ideal You, as your values, your talents and your desires.
Exercise:

Contemplate what are your values and talents, your attributes and your true heart's desires. Who do you want to be? How do you picture this ideal you?

Make some time for yourself to contemplate and define the picture of the ideal you.
The fact that you can imagine this ideal you, means that it already exists and that you are not only becoming that person, but that ideal you is waiting for you to breathe life into it.

Write a description of the ideal you, the one you admire and wish to be.
“Paint” the picture of your ideal you with your words or your paintbrush, breathe life into it now.

Once created in the writing exercise it will start to live closer to your heart.
It will shine bright and be your lighthouse always giving you signal, “This way please”.

Know that this ideal you is and can come to life through your actions.

How is the poise and body language of this ideal self?  Start to get closer to your vision by adjusting your body language and poise to the one of the ideal you. Remind yourself till it becomes a habit.

Is there a specific value you want to improve like punctuality? That means your Ideal You is a punctual person, so start to change one appointment at a time to be punctual.

The benefit of those tiny action steps will be beyond the visible change. Your brain will create new neural pathways and you will become more and more the one you love to be.

You will improve how you feel about yourself and your perception of the world around you will be more pleasing.
