To establish a belief, you just keep thinking the same concepts until there is no doubt.
This is how you learned your name.
Any idea that is repeated will eventually be accepted this is how our belief system was established and still develops as information flows to us in a repetitive mode.
When we do not resist something that is repeatedly entering our thoughts, it becomes a part of our belief system that rules our life.
What we believe defines how we perceive our life and directs our actions.
