Not what is happening to us, but how we think about what is happening creates our "destiny".
When we keep focused on what we see around us, we just re-create the same type of experiences over and over and wonder "same old same old'.
It is good to understand that it is not the "old" remaining the same, but the new created to the image we pondered in our life then.
You may have read the book "Man's Search for Meaning". The author, Victor Frankl, who was imprisoned in a concentration camp, survived life-threatening circumstances because he managed to keep focus on a vision despite the conditions that surrounded him.
He inspired others to think about what they are going to do after the war is over and who needs them and thereby keeping their focus on meaning for staying alive; imagining life after imprisonment.
What you predominantly think about, gains momentum and as a result your mind will "bring" you more information supporting your thoughts.
Keep your mind on what you want and why you want it and your mind will make you notice opportunities and ways to solutions.
Have an inspiring vision of your life.
